Royal Palm Gardens had been neglected for decades and was in need of extensive repairs and upgrades. Redwood partnered with the local community to effectuate a comprehensive preservation and revitalization plan that would raise the standard of living in and around the community. The scope of the rehabilitation included impact rated façade upgrades, system upgrades, security improvements, a new community center with a fitness room, computer lab, playgrounds and picnic areas, and full unit renovations, inclusive of upgraded finishes and energy-efficient appliances and fixtures.

The Winthrop, a mixed-use historically significant former hotel in Tacoma, was on the verge of failure after prior ownership filed for bankruptcy. Redwood sponsored a comprehensive, historically significant renovation that restored the former luxury hotel into high-quality affordable housing.

Admiralty Apartments

Port Townsend, Washington

Admiralty Apartments, a mixed-use historically significant property on Port Townsend Bay, was partially condemned after storms damaged its structure. Redwood sponsored an environmentally focused redevelopment that included rebuilding the property’s pilings and brick masonry façade.
